Plant of the Month. “The Yuki Cherry Blossom”

Yuki Cherry Blossom is a low, spreading (12″-24″ height and spread), Spring-flowering plant, ideal for creating a wonderful carpet of pink flowers. This dear resistant shrub prefers part sun to sun. In the fall its leaves turn a rich burgundy-purple color. Some of the more popular uses for the Yuki Cherry Blossom areas boarder plants, edging plants, groundcover, landscape plants, and mass planting.

The Yuki Cherry Blossom is a low maintenance plant. Pruning is seldom needed but it may be shaped immediately after flowering.  It should be fertilized in the spring.
